AI assistance
When you request AI assistance, the tool sends the displayed stage or task inputs and selected context through our server to OpenAI. Rehearsal private preparation is sent only when you request coaching. AI output is a draft for your review. OpenAI's processing and retention policies apply.
Drafts on your device
Specialist drafts stay in the current tab by default. You may choose to remember future edits for seven days. Before You Send has its own optional seven-day saving. Selected handoffs keep a temporary return copy for two hours. The saved-draft controls let you clear EDGE data from this browser. Old unversioned drafts are not automatically restored.
Usage and measurement
To limit automated abuse and costs, we count AI requests using timestamps and a daily rotating identifier derived from the connecting IP address. The counter contains no briefs or raw IP addresses and is removed after two days during subsequent usage. Separate daily totals by tool and response status help us spot service failures and usage limits. These contain no user identifiers or content and are removed after 30 days during subsequent usage. Hosting and AI providers may maintain their own operational logs.
On the production domain, analytics records page visits and tool interactions, such as requesting assistance or exporting a brief. The custom tool events do not include your input or generated text. Review-site traffic is excluded from the production analytics container.
